Heading off on a road trip around France with my girl in a few weeks time and today the road atlas that will direct us around France into Paris arrived.
Very much looking forward to it.
I’ve seen a lot of photography floating around Flickr where a printed photo has been used within the photo to create some interesting results. My favorite being when old photos of streets are held up in the correct possition against the same street today.

A great collection of shots I found over at www.toxel.com show something a little bit more interesting. Classic 12′ album covers used to spice up some shots with some very amusing results.
It was almost a none 365 day yesterday after I fell asleep in the bath.
I woke up just before midnight and had a bit of a panic about that fact that I hadn’t posted anything yet. I got myself into a bit of a flap and then given in to the fact that I had failed in my attempt at my post365….. Gutted
Failed so soon in to the year. Rubbish!
I went to work a little gutted about my failure; wondering if I should just pull together two posts today to play catch up and just pretend to myself that I hadn’t failed.
Then it came to me… Check the rules that I posted on day 11th.
- One Post per day minimum.
- Content can be any of the following
- Video (No live streams)
- Image with commentary
- Audio
- Written views or reviews
- Must be recorded, or written on the day.
Rule number three was my saviour. Yes it has to be done on the day but It says nothing about uploading the post on the day. I checked over my phone….. nothing!
Again my rules say nothing about me actually taking/recording the content. That said it should be a given; but it the content is from my lovley lady… Then that almost like its my content.
“Whats your is mine and what mine is my own.”
So here is a picture taken yesterday by my girl of her lush new Trangia.
Post365…. is back on!

This was taken while I was out with the Newcastle Photo Walk (#NPWALK) aka the “Newcastle Novice Digital Photography Community Club”
It was taken in the underground car park at St James Park. A collection of fan paid for tiles located next to the players entrance.
Not sure why anyone would want to pay for such a thing and I understand even less as to why you would want “Mind Games” put on your tile.
Answers on a post card.
This is a shot taken on one of the Newcastle Photo Walk just before my birthday last year.
I normally skip over photo’s of my friends when deciding what to put online. I managed to take this just before the obligatory “pull a funny face for the camera” started.
I spent a little bit of time deciding if I should go with the black and white or color version of this shot and in doing so I started to notice that my friend is getting older. I’m not saying that he’s getting on a bit (before you start kicking off Adam) and even if he was I’m older so that would mean I’m screwed!
My point is that you often spend so much time just getting on with things that you forget how much older your are. I remember a time when the drunken weekends of partying seemed like they were only a few weeks ago, in reality they are closer to 10 years ago.
Its not till your face starts to shows the lines of laughter or stress that you notice just how far you have come. Luckily for Adam its all smiles and laughter.
