01-01-2010 – New Year Snow

01-01-2010 – New Year Snow The start of a new decade is here and it’s a chance for most of us stand back and take check.
In the last ten years I have gone from irresponsible and lost lad in my 20’s to a content not as irresponsible lad in my 30’s. I’ve lost family; but through it all I have been fortunate to have the same friends stand by me. I have gained new friends; and found love.
Today the start of the next chapter in my life begins and I’m looking forward to every minute of it.
I wish you all a happy new year and hope the next ten years bring you the same joy I have had in the last ten.

A long forgotten splash of color.

A long forgotten splash of color.

Looking back over the recent pictures in my photo stream I noticed it was starting to look nothing more than an endless supply of dull, gray and cold pictures.

So I thought it was time to dig out a little bit of color to remind me and you that their is a light at the end of the tunnel.

This was taken at the Gateshead side of the Tyne Bridge back in April of this year. I was thinking next year I need to spend more time out with my camera when the sun is shining and the city is in bloom. If for no other reason then to have something to give me a lift next winter.
