Room 101

A full day conference today.  I think staying in room 101 last night pretty much sets the tone for how the day was.

Torture.

The only good thing that came out of the day was that I got to spend some time with most of the major UK mobile manufacturers.  I got the chance to get my hands on HTC Bravo and I’m going to say that it has got some tricks under its bonnet.  The only problem is that because I was there as part of work…. I can’t talk about it any more than that.

Tonight is going to be all about the drinking; tomorrow post may contain some drunken video.  Just so you know.

Stuck on a train…. FUN?

So it was a trip down to Bristol today.  Five hours.  That’s how long the journey takes from Newcastle to Bristol.  Not 2 hours or even 3 hours…. its take Five. 1, 2, 3, 4, FIVE.  I know this due to the five dull and torturous hours I spent on a train…. to Bristol.  Why so dull.  NO WiFi.  They should stick big sticker on the side of trains letting you know who has WiFi and who doesn’t, I would have got on another train if I had known before hand.  I may have even binned the whole thing off flown down.

And what did I have to look forward to once I got into Bristol after a torturous trip.  My Hotel room.

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.

Bluetooth

I would love to say that I had a massively interesting day today; but with it being the last day of of the month it was all about working my ass off to try and hit target and earn me some bonus.  I didn’t get hit the benchmark.  🙁

So the only thing I have to say today is, why the hell do people still think it’s OK to leave there bluetooth head set on when they are indoors?  Do they actually think that it makes them look cool?
